Officials from the United States Football League and its newly-established Hartford franchise toured Connecticut Children's Medical Center on Tuesday, Feb. 16, immediately following a news conference where it was announced that the UFL's New York Sentinels would be relocating to Connecticut.
Visiting with 11-year-old Angel Cruz of Manchester is UFL Commissioner Michael Huyghue (left) and the team's new head coach Chris Palmer. Palmer most recently served as Eli Manning's quarterback coach with the New York Giants. He also worked as an assistant with the Dallas Cowboys, the Houston Texans and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The yet, un-named Hartford team will play a 10-game schedule on Friday and Saturday nights starting in September with five home games being played at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.
